I was talking with my friend Melody the other day and I was sharing with her how spiritually depleted I'd been feeling this week. Although I'd been getting spiritually fed, I just felt like something was missing.
Maybe you've felt that way before - a little snappish, short on words, vulnerable, drained…just all in your flesh!
I just could not grasp why I was feeling so malnourished.
Before I go further, let me give you a little snapshot of my girl, Melody. She is one of the most inspiring people I know…so full of energy, life, and SPUNK! She is my big sister from another mister! She is a woman who has fallen in love with radiating her truth through healthy eating and well-being. Her Get Fit, Live Well posts encourage me daily to stay on track with healthier eating and exercise (well, between you and me, I've yet to get on track with the exercise part :).)
Back to the story.
So she's telling me all about her healthy eating lifestyle and then it HIT ME. "Mel! I know why I've been so depleted!!!" I'd been filling up on "processed food"!
